Yesterday...

The durbar was full..
By every door were people seeking Justice,
wet eyes, anger, mistrust, fear, greed
every pair of eyes had a story to tell

None of the stories  true
None of the stories  false
A mother looks up for a divine intervention
When the Guard announced the arrival
All stood up
All bowed down
Respect for the law of the land
forced upon as a custom
She heard her name after a name she feared
A dark raven became her voice
Not that her voice was ever sweet
or that she was ever beautiful
She heard the law
or was it a date
Man just fixed and sealed
What could just decide her fate
The Durbar was full
The royal has not arrived
Oh but why would it matter
For to the world - she a low life
In all the accumulated misery
she draped an oxymoron
Dignity ha
Most stopped to stare

But that was yesterday..
